(“Summit Companies”), a leading national fire and life safety service provider and portfolio company of BlackRock Long Term Private Capital. PSI was previously owned by The Riverside Company, which is a global private equity firm focused on investing in growing businesses. The transaction, which closed in August 2025, reflects Bundy Group’s continued momentum and deep experience in the Fire, Security & Safety industry.
Based in Portland, OR, PSI delivers comprehensive fire and life safety solutions to commercial and institutional clients, including system inspection, maintenance, monitoring, repairs and new installations. Under Riverside’s hold, PSI has grown into the largest independent fire life safety provider in the Pacific Northwest, serving more than 21,000 customers across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California and Hawaii. Riverside completed 16 strategic add-on investments, growing from four locations to 14, and expanded across five states while increasing employee count from 108 to more than 450, including technician growth from 64 to 279.
